Firework

Hello my loves!
Sorry for not posting this out yesterday like I said I would but unfortunately I became distracted with a curry dinner and before I knew it it was 11pm!  So here is Katy Perry look week 2...
This weeks look is far more simple than week ones but I think it's really effective and fresh for the summer and takes no time at all!

The look would have been made even easier if I was able to find my Mac blue liquid liner which typically vanished the day I filmed the video!  It did however give me the opportunity to show you how to create your own liquid liners using your eyeshadows so every cloud...

Products used in video:
Eyes: Rimmel Black Glam'Eyes liquide eyeliner,  Barry M Crystal Blue Dazzle Dust mixed with Mac Mixing Medium (Charles Fox angled liner brush), Eylure Katy Perry "Oh, Honey" lashes, L'Oreal Black False Lash Telescopic mascara, Chanel Blanc Crayon Kohl
Lips: Barry M Hot Pink kohl pencil to line lips, Models Own Hot Pink lipstick
Cheeks: Chanel Pink Explosion Joues Contrastes (Chanel 4 blusher brush), Soap & Glory Hocus Focus Illuminizing lotion on cheekbones.

We are now halfway through the month so tune in next Wednesday for the third Katy Perry installment.  I'll be back before then though with the latest from White Jail so i'll see you all in a little while!
Take care until then,
Peace and Love

BANK

Good Morning!
How are you all doing?
So this is a bit of a mixed post i'm taking you back to last weekend which was a bank holiday here in London, yes that's right three blissful workless days.

FRIDAY-
So friday night I found myself surrounded by blondes (blondes have more fun, that's why I hang out with them).  We headed up to a new nightclub in Marylebone called Rose Club.  Luckily one of our favourite DJ's was playing so we rocked out to a bit of NERD and our favourite R Kelly's Ignition :)...The cab ride home was a little less joyful as the cabbie refused yes REFUSED to take 5 drunk girls to the McDonalds drive-thru which didn't go down well so there is a picture of him thrown in for good measure and to ensure you avoid this cab if you are partial to a late night big mac.

SATURDAY-
Saturday daytime my friend Sophie asked if she could takes some photo's of me around London for a uni project she is doing about Instagram.  The look was city chic so I was like yeah cool man thinking it would be nice and serious.  It turns out not so much, she wanted me running around and making a prat of myself in the cold and rain.  Already feeling a little fragile from the previous night I was a tad scepticle but she promised me chicken katsu curry from Wagamamas as a thank you so I was soon swinging round lamp posts and growling at the lions in Trafalgar Square,  I have put in some of the more sane pics, some of the others were just too embarassing to post!  It was also lovely to spend a day with Soph as we don't see each other often...and of course to spend the day with London, the greatest city in the world.

SUNDAY-
Sunday was my gorgeous girl Rachel's birthday.  We gathered at her house for some pre drinks and drinking games which makes it fair to say I was well on my way by the time we got to the club-cheap night indeed!  Was great to see all my school girls again we always have such a laugh when we are all back together.  It's actually Rachel's birthday tomorrow so HAPPY BIRTHDAY my darling girl!

MONDAY-
HANGING

So now thats over lets bring on the bank holiday in June for the Queen's Jubilee...4 day weekend YESSSS!

So i'll be back soon with the next Katy Perry installment and the latest from White Jail,

Have a great week everyone!

Peace and love,

Alessia

Hummingbird Heartbeat

Evening Loves,
I hope you are all well!
So I took a little break from make up tutorials in April as it was a hectic month for me with all the birthday and Naples madness but i'm back this month with something a little different for you.   I have chosen to dedicate May to Katy Perry because she is always fun and fearless with her make up, which to me are the the fundamental things to always be.
Katy Perry has also collabourated with Eylure and brought out four sets of lashes so I thought we could recreate one of her looks with a set of her lashes each week.

So to kick off Katy Perry month I have gone for a make up that she sported to the 2011 Grammys.  It's a really colourful, sparkly look and she manages to make it sexy and wearable.  I feel that I can sometimes get myself into a rut with my make up so it was really nice to experiment with bold colour, I definitely want to sport this look on a night out soon, especially now we are moving into the summer!

(I'm a little gutted that you can hardly see the green, I can only blame the lighting in my bathroom for this as it was very bold in the flesh)
Products used in the video:
Eyes: Mac Parfait Amour eyeshadow on mobile lid (large flat brush), Clarins Vibrant Violet eyeshadow in socket line (Mac 217 blending brush), Take a clean Mac 217 blending brush to soften edges, Mac Golden Olive pigment under lower lashline (slanted angle brush), Rimmel Exaggerate Black waterproof eyeliner on outer edge of inner eyeline and inner upper eyeline, Chanel Onyx Noir Ligne Extreme liquid liner, Eylure Katy Perry "Cool Kitty"(!) eyelashes, Apply a small quantity of Mac Mixing Medium gel to a small synethetic brush and place on the mobile lid leaving the "V" area blank,  again using a small synthetic brush place the iridescent glitter on the mixing medium,  L'oreal Black Volume Million Lashes mascara on top and bottom lashes.
Lips: Mac Pink Nouveau lipstick
Cheeks: MyFace Cosmetics Paradiso Pink blusher up swept up cheekbones (Chanel 4 blusher brush)

So that's week one out of the way, I hope you enjoyed the look!

I'll be back soon with a little post about the bank holiday weekend,

Have a great rest of your week,

Peace and Love

Dirty Love

Hello Everyone!
Sorry I haven't posted for a while my life has been extremely quiet of late! However that hasn't lasted long as I am now busier than ever so there will be alot of posts coming your way in the next few weeks!

Last Thursday I attended the Dirty LOVES press launch at McQueen bar in Shoreditch.  The reason I was in attendance was to support my best friend Lou as she styles for the magazine and also is going to be doing some illustrations for them (I put in one of her sketches below she is amazing!).  Obviously I didn't need too much persuading to go with her though, anywhere where the cupcakes and Martini's are unlimited you will be sure to find me.  Dirty LOVES started out as an online magazine and has now extended into selling clothing, underwear, jewellery and some saucy items, the whole Dirty LOVES concept is really young and fresh so I urge you all to check out the website

I'm really proud of Lou for her contribution to this magazine, it was a great event and i'm sure you will all hear alot of great things from Dirty LOVES yet.

So like I said life is busy, busy, busy again so there will be lots coming your way...

WJ time again! Friday 11th May at a secret warehouse in London so come and check it out!

I hope you all have a great bank holiday and i'll see you soon!

Peace and Love

Alessia
